Imagined Futures | Workshop
Discover the insightful outcomes of our workshop at the Roskilde Festival in collaboration with Madkulturen. Together, the workshop attendees craft visions while simultaneously engaging in culinary creations. These imaginative ideas materialized into visually captivating representations using the power of Midjourney, a generative image AI to vividly illustrate the participants’ imaginations of our food systems' future.
-
GRASP POP-UP | Talk
Enlai Hooi participated in the final "Food is Now" session alongside sea farmers from HAVHØST, discussing the potential of the aquatic environment in the food system. The discussion was moderated by marine biologist Anders Drud Jordan.

The Future Food Game | Workshop
Discover the open-source knowledge cards created for imagining the potential of future food systems. Together, the workshop attendees demonstrated their collective capacity; these cards were produced and displayed live during the event.

FEED-BACK | Round Table Talk
Enlai Hooi hosted a round table talk as a part of the UIA - World Congress of Architecture 2023. ‘The future is already here; it’s just not evenly distributed’. By looking at existing cultures and methods of producing food that could point to an alternative future, we explore the potential of re-wiring our cities through hacktivism: stitching together new systems of self-sufficiency with the tools and technologies at hand.

Future City Game | Workshop
How can the UN SDGs be used to imagine the future city? What should be the future driving considerations for urban food and nutrient circularity? SHL hosted a workshop at the GRASP festival, utilising SHL’s Living Design method of imagining the future potential of urban food systems. Together, we created open-source knowledge cards for imagining future food systems' potential.
